Think Graveyard with an organ. Or the band Vidunder . There’s even a song called Vidunder . It’s one of the years best . This sophomore release is possibly better than the now legendary debut Black Soul . VISDOM have now placed themselves in the conversation for one of the top seventies sounding bands .

𝓣he most auspicious of returns from a righteously-rockin' regiment capable of cleaving letters in half with audiophonic force. 'Black Soul' may have arrived in the height of summer and its brother now winterborne, but there are never less than four sonic seasons on a Visdom record. The bass, the treble, the queen and her rebels; the consummate cast for a solstice festival.

The whole album feels like a great concept album with the ending reflecting the beginning and the songwriting being all over the place yet absolutely wholesome and bombastic at times. The whole album evolves towards its grant conclusion with "Madman". Brilliant.
